Nandurbar

The district of Nandurbar is also an extremely important administrative district of the state of Maharashtra. The district has its main centre for administration in the city of Nandurbar itself. Initially in the past, the districts of Dhule and Nandurbar were same until they were divided in the year of 1988. The district is bordered by the district of Dhule and the states of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. The district has seen the rule of nearly all the great rulers who have ruled the land of India. The district of Nandurbar has a population density of approximately 276 people per sq km of the land area of 5964 sq km. The district has a total population that is approximately around 16.4 lacs individuals. The district has quite a few places of tourist interests and for historians. The district’s population is largely based on the populations of the Tribal people who are an integral part of the district.
