Sikkim

The state of Sikkim is one of the small states of the Indian Republic. The state is located in the northern part of the nation in the laps of the mighty Himalayan mountains. The state of Sikkim shares a national border with China. The city of Gangtok is the capital of the state. The state of Sikkim is a small state covering a land area of  just 7,096 sq km, only larger that Goa. The state has a population of 610,577 individuals ranking the state at the 2nd last position with a population density of approximately 86 individuals per sq km. The state of Sikkim is well known as a tourist destination.
