Sirohi

The district of Sirohi is also one of the important districts of the state of Rajasthan. The district of Sirohi is located in the southern part of the state of Rajasthan. The district of Sirohi has its main centre for the control of administration in the city of Sirohi itself. The district is bordered by the other districts of Jalore, Udaipur and Pali. The district of Sirohi is also bordered by the state of Gujarat. The district of Sirohi basically has two parts: The Aravalli Mountain range and the basin of the West Banas River. The district of Sirohi covers a land area of approximately around 5136 sq km with a population that approximately figures up to 10.3 lacs individuals. The district of Sirohi has a population density of approximately 202 people per sq km. The district was initially a part of the state of Bombay. The land is also known as ‘Dev Nagari’.
