The district of Sikar is one of the many districts that make the north – western state of Rajasthan. The district is of great importance to the state because of the historical importance that it has. The district of Sikar is bordered by the other districts of Churu, Jhunjhunu, Nagaur and Jaipur. The district of Sikar is also bordered by the state of Haryana. The district has many such places that are of great interest for the tourist from all over the world. The district is a part of the Shekhawati region of the state of Rajasthan. The district of Sikar covers a land area of approximately 7742 sq km with a population that approximately amounts up to 26.7 lacs individuals. The district of Sikar has a population density of approximately 346 people per sq km living in the total area of the district. Just like the other districts of Rajasthan, the district of Sikar is on the arid side of vegetation.
