Nagaur

The district of Nagaur is one of the many districts that make up the north – western state of Rajasthan. The district of Nagaur has its main centre for the control of administration in the city of Nagaur itself. The district of Nagaur is bordered by the district of Churu, Bikaner, Jaipur, Sikar, Ajmer, Jodhpur and Pali. The district of Nagaur is an important part of Marwar district. The mountain range of Aravalli runs along the south – eastern part of the district of Nagaur.  The district is also the home of the largest salt lake of Rajasthan as well as India, the Sambhar Lake. The district of Nagaur covers a land area of approximately around 17718 sq km with a population that is approximately around 33 lacs individuals. The district of Nagaur has a population density of 187 people per sq km of the total area of the district of Nagaur.
