Rewa

The district of Rewa is one of the 50 districts that make up the state of Madhya Pradesh. The district of Rewa has its main city of administration in the city Rewa itself. The district of Rewa is bordered by the districts of Satna, Shahdol and Sidhi. The district is also bordered by the state of Uttar Pradesh. The district of Rewa is an important part of the Rewa Division. The district of Rawa is blessed with all the kinds of Terrain that one disytrict can have starting from alluvial lands, to rugged lands, etc. The district covers a land area of approximately 6240 sq km with a population of around about 23.6 lacs individuals. The district has a population density of 374 people per sq km. The district is famous for the Buddhist stupas that it has and the white tigers that roam about in its jungles. The district is often called as the ‘land of white tigers.
