The district of Kodagu is also known by the Anglo – Indian name of Coorg. The district is an extremely administrative district of the state of Karnataka. The district of Kodagu is bordered by the districts of Dakshina Kannada, Hassan and Mysore. The district is also bordered by two districts of the state of Kerala.
