Patna Airport, also called as Jaiprakash Narayan Airport is located just 5 Km away from the Patna city. Currently the national flights operate from this airport, no international flights are there, but there is a terminal for it which is under development. Over the years, this airport has seen high surge in the traffic and hence the expansion plan of this airport is currently under consideration. It spreads in area of about 254 acres and has a runway which is around 1954 m in length. This airport is functional from the year 1973. Passengers can get flights to major cities of India.
