Gaya Airport is the only international airport in the Bihar state and it is situated near the Bhodhgaya. Around just 5 Km away from the Bhodgaya holy city, this airport is located. Mainly this airport was constructed to cater the needs of foreign pilgrims coming from the Japan, Thailand etc. This airport has two terminals, one is for domestic flights and other one is for the international flights with a capacity of handling around 400 passengers at a time. This is second busiest port in the state after the Patna City airport. Length of the runway is 2286 meters and the whole airport is scattered in 954 acres of land.
