Following are the airports in Nagaland.
Dimapur Airport (DMU): One and only airport in Nagaland region. It was built during the World War Times. After small expansions plans, now it can cope up with 500 departure passengers and 300 coming passengers. But as the passenger volumes are going up, they are planning to expand this further, so that a new airport with international norms is ready in time. Planning for acquiring land is under the progress. Air India and Jet Airways, have operations from here and regular flights from city like Kolkata are currently available. As of now it is located at a height of 148m and currently the length of runway is around 2290m.
