Goa Airport (Code: GOI), Dabolim, Goa, India

Goa airport is among the few international airports that are available in India. It is also know with other name known as Dabolim Airport. Dabolim is a small village that is located in nearby areas of Goa. Military Operations are also carried out from this location. Panjim, capital city of Goa, is located 30 Km away from this airport. As per the history, this airport was constructed during Portuguese time, around in 1950s. But since now Goa is world renowned tourist spot, number passenger that this airport is experiencing every year, are increasing by several fold and hence its renovation and expansion is under its way. Current length of the runway is around 3,458 m.
