These are airports in Himachal Pradesh:

Gaggal Airport (DHM): This is a domestic airport in Himachal Pradesh which is also known by the name as ‘Kangra Airport’. It is located around 14 Km away from the Dharamshala Airport. It spreads in 126 acres of land and can handle around 100 passengers at a time. Currently it has facility to house two turbo prop type of aircrafts. Current length of runway is 1408m and will be upgraded in future as per need. Currently Jagson airlines, Air India and Spicejet have operations here.

Shimla Airport (SLV): Shimla is among the major tourist destination in the country. Because of that, this airport was constructed by cutting the mountain. Currently length of the runway is around 1230m. Passenger handling capacity of this airport is around 50 passengers. Planes carry less number of passengers here, because of the High altitude problem.

Bhuntar Airport (KUU): Also known as the Kullu Manali airport and serves the major traffic that is coming here for holidays. 1125 m is the current length of runway. It cannot handle much traffic and have parking for two planes only. Because of rough terrain, air traffic is not as smooth as it should be. Currently Jagson airport has operations till here. Currently expansion plan of this airstrip is under planning.
