Anjaw

The Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh is the district that literally controls the whole administration of the state. The district was created in very recently in the year 2004 when some mass of land was separated from the district of Lohit. The district shares its border with the country of China. The district of Anjaw is the easternmost district of India which is located on the banks of Lohit River. The main City of Anjaw is Hawai, which is located at the altitude of 1296m above the sea level.The district accommodates a meagre small amount of 21089 individuals with the population density of 3 persons per sq km. The main crops of the district are millets, rice, beans, cardamom, plum, apple, etc. As many as twelve rivers flow through the district of Anjaw. The district primarily comprises of the Mishimi and the Zakhring tribes. Flora and Fauna of the region is extremely rich. Many rare aminals and plants are found in the jungles of Anjaw.
