All the Indian students aspiring to take up engineering after the class 12 examination would have to sit for the JEE Main 2021 examination. The exam offers the opportunity to secure admission in government and private engineering colleges in India. Dates regarding application form
The JEE Main 2021 online application form has been released on the official JEE website on December 1, 2020. The last date of JEE Main application form is December 31, 2020. The JEE candidates would be offered an opportunity to correct the application form after submission and the correction window is open till 2nd quarter of 2021 January.
Date of Admit card
The admit card would be released on 1st week of March 2021.
Date of exams & answer key
The date of JEE Main 2021 exams are as follows-
- April 3, 2021 - Pen & paper based examination.
- April 9 & 10, 2021 - Computer-based examinations.
The candidates can sit for both the papers. The Paper I would be on objective questions from Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. Paper II would be divided in 3 sections. The first & second sections would be on objective questions and the third section would be on drawing test.
Paper I would be based on both pen and paper & computer modes. But Paper 2 would be a pen & paper exam only. Both the papers would be conducted for 3 hours. There would be 90 questions & 4 marks for each right answer.
The answer key would be released on 2nd quarter of April, 2021.
The date of JEE Main result is April 27, 2021.
The date of counseling of JEE Main would start from 1st half of July, 2021.
Dates regarding change in class 12 result
- If your qualifying marks of Class 12 result have changed given result revision, the candidate must upload the copy of revised mark sheet within June 15, 2021
- If your class 12 result would be declared post June 15, 2021, you can’t sit for JEE Main 2021.
