Are you about to appear for JEE Main 2016? Well, the post below offers some JEE Main 2016 important instructions that you should keep in mind.

  1. The JEE Main 2016 candidates would apply online.
  2.  The application form must be filled from the official website of JEE Main.
  3. The process of online application for JEE Main 2016 has started on December 1 and would close on December 31, 2015.
  4. The application fee for Paper 1 /Paper 2 for boys (pen & paper exam) is 1000 INR & for girls 500 INR in General Category. For reserved categories it is 500 INR for both boys and girls. In case of computer based exam, the fee is 500 for boys & 250 for girls in general category and 250 for both boys & girls in reserved categories.
  5. For both the papers, the fee is 1800 INR for boys, for girls 900 INR in General Category. For reserved categories it is 900 INR for both boys and girls. For computer based exam, the fee is 1300 INR for boys & 650 for girls in general category and 650 for both boys & girls in reserved categories.
  6. In case of foreign centers, the application fee for Paper 1 /Paper 2 for boys (pen & paper exam) is 2500 INR, for girls 12500 INR in General Category. In case of reserved categories it is 1250 INR for both boys and girls. In case of computer based exam, the fee is 2500 for boys & 1250 for girls in general category and 1250 for both boys & girls in reserved categories.
  7. For both the papers, the fee is 3800 INR for boys, for girls 1900 INR in General Category. It is 1900 INR for both boys and girls in reserved categories. For, computer based exam, the fee is 3800 INR for boys & 1900 for girls in general category and 1900 for both boys & girls in reserved categories.
  8. Candidate’s & the parent’s name in the form should match the data in 12th standards qualifying exam.
  9. If your qualifying marks of class 12 result have changed given result revision, you must upload the copy of revised mark sheet within June 15, 2016
  10. If your class 12 result would be declared post June 15, 2016, you can’t sit for JEE Main 2016.
  11. Candidates will be given a chance of correcting the application form during January 2016.
  12. Candidate should have his active personal email id & mobile phone number.
