This airport is located in the north state of India, Tripura. This airport lies 12km away from the capital city known as Agartala. Built in the times of Second World War, this airport was renovated to convert it for the passenger plane purposes. Earlier it was mainly used by the defense forces for the supply of food and ammunition.
