Aizwal Airport is located near to the Aizwal city in Mizoram. It was constructed in the 1998. The name of this airport is Lengpui Airport and after Guwahati airport, this is largest in the North Eastern states. Earlier Aizwal was not connected by any modes of transportation near to it and railways station, airport were far from it. It has 2500 meters long runway and currently have CAT 1 system installed for the low visibility landing.
