Ganga Lake

Around 6 Km from the Itanagar, this beautiful lake comes. It is surrounded by thick forest and it is in the middle of mountains terrain. In terms of area, it is a huge lake that flourishes well and plethora of flora around it makes this lake much more appealing. It is a very famous tourist spot in this vicinity and you can go from various boat riding packages available at cheap rates.

Tawang

Tawang is famous for its ancient Monpa and Sherdukpen tribes and they have been here for very long period. Due to the presence of these tribes, this place looks almost untouched in terms of human intervention. An unmatched views of forest, hill, snow capped mountains and of course monasteries present a totally different experience. Natural beauty is the only reason that leads to attraction among people towards to this place. You can offer your prayers in these monasteries and monks are always ready to help. Tawang Mosntery also called as the ‘Gumpha’ is a famous structure to go for. It is around 400 year old monasteries and every year a famous festival known as the ‘Torgva festival’ is celebrated in the month of December and January. Major spot of attraction is the 8m high Bhudha statue built here. Se La Pass which is the second highest pass in the world is also near to this Monastery.

Pakang Teng Tso Lake and Urgelling Monastery

Around 17 Km from the Tawang a magnificent view of water body comes. Pakang Teng Tso Lake presents a totally different picture on these hills. Its crystal clear water and plethora of flora present around this lake present a picturesque view of this site. Urgelling Monastery is the birth place of 6th Dalai Lama called as ‘Tsangyang Gyasto’. Due to this reason, this monastery has a very great religious importance among the vicinity.

Bomdila

It is among the star attraction of Arunachal Pradesh . Starting from the natural beauty of this place, a nice and picturesque view of Himalayan Mountains on one hand and on the other, wild orchids, fruits tress can be seen. Falling waterfalls also present a serene yet adventures looks to this site. Now on the other hand a whole lot cluster of monasteries can be seen. Since this place was ruled by King Bana, remains of his empire are still intact. There are couples of museums also and they can be visited to explore more about this exorbitant yet picturesque site.

Tipi

Tipi is famous for a whole lot different things and this different thing is the Orchids. Tipi is the largest producer of products related to orchids in Asia and there are more than 500 varieties of orchids that are grown at this place. Dirang

Dirang is situated in between Bomdila and Tawang route and famous for its Apple trees. There are couples of Gompas also and people come to take holy dip in to hot springs that are natural occurring here. Itanagar

Being capital of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar enjoys a distinct image. One of the star attractions of Itanagar is the ‘itafort’. There are mainly three gate for entrance in to this fort and around 80 lakh of bricks were used to construct this massive fort. Ziro

Pasighat

This is famous for the ‘Siang’ or Brahmaputra River. Due to the presence of so furious and immense River, sports related to water like water rafting are organized in this river at large scale. One city that has all types of mode of transportation is Itanagar. Colder season is default here and travelers are advised to carry warm clothes in large numbers. Due to remoteness of various towns, your mobile connection will surely go out frequently. Indian Army has made several provision of Local PCO’s in this state. Local transportation is very weak in this state. Since connectivity to remote areas is weak, having your own means of transportation is a nice option when coming to these areas.
