  • Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1 July 1997 are eligible to apply for the VITEEE 2021 entrance test. To assess this criterion, the candidates would need to be bringing a date of birth record, which could be the birth certificate or the high school certificate; whichever is given preference by the candidate. They should be able to provide the original certificate during the time of counseling, failing which they would be disqualified from that counseling segment, and subsequently lose their position.
  • The prospective candidates for VITEEE 2021 should have secured an average of 60% in physics, chemistry and mathematics/biology in the qualifying examinations to be considered for applying. This is for the general quota students, and is a prerequisite.
  • If the candidate belongs to the SC/ST and north-eastern state, then the average marks to be secured in physics, chemistry and mathematics/biology should be 50%. However, the candidates that do find themselves eligible for this criteria will need to bring the original documentation supporting their claim, or else they would have to forfeit their position during the counseling session in the college.
  • Candidates that have studied regularly, in full-time courses and have the desired formal education are the ideal people to apply for this examination.
  • Candidates that have been tagged “NIOS” are eligible to appear for the VITEEE 2021 .
  • In case the statement of marks is not provided during the time of admission, the decision to let the candidate continue with the subsequent course will rest upon the management. His or her admission would be totally on the discretion of the management of VITEEE.
  • Only the candidates that have studied physics, chemistry and mathematics are eligible for the B.Tech programs provided under VITEEE.
  • The candidates that have studied physics, chemistry and biology are eligible for the B.Tech, biomedical engineering and biotechnology programs. These candidates are also eligible for computer science and engineering, but they would have to register for mathematics as an additional course which is a mandatory part of any engineering.
