Are you about to appear for the CTET examination this year? Is this your first time? Well, then, you might be eager to know how CTET examination will be conducted. Here is a brief on CTET exam 2022.

The CTET exam is taken twice annually- one in July and the another one in December. It’s carried all across the nation in 112 cities. The exam will be carried in two phases on the same day. Paper 1 of the examination will be carried from 9:30 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. Paper 2 of the exam will be carried on the same day, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The entire examination will be conducted in offline mode. Upon reaching the examination hall, candidates will be given a CTET exam booklet and OMR sheet. The OMR sheet is the one where you will have to mark the answers in pen or pencil.  All the questions will be MCQ-style questions and you will have to choose the right option from 4 given options.

Candidates will be able to mention 4 choices regarding examination center while filling up the application form. CBSE holds the authority to designate the examination center to each candidate. You will find your examination center on your CTET admit card. You cannot change your exam center after the admit card has been issued.

Important Points to Remember For CTET 2022 Exam

  • You should reach examination hall minimum 1 and half hour prior to start of your examination
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after the test starts
  • Make sure to your CTET Admit card and photo ID proof
  • You will only be allowed to open the test booklet 5 minutes before the start of time of examination
