The candidates who can come up with qualifying cut off marks in WBJEE 2021 will be called for counseling for admission in the engineering or medical colleges of West Bengal. The counseling procedure would be done in 4 rounds. The post here is a brief on WBJEE 2021 Counseling.
WBJEE Counseling Round 1 - Online registration & fee payment
- Go to https://wbjeeb.nic.in/ to register for WBJEE counseling
- Counseling for qualified students in the medical program would be conducted online by Directorate of Medical Education, Department of Health & Family Welfare. Relevant data regarding dental & medical online counseling would be available on www.wbmcc.nic.in or www.wbhealth.gov.in
- As you go to register online, you would have to enter your WBJEE roll number, application number, name & DOB.
- After successful registration, you will get to download the registration e-challan to pay the counseling fee (Rs. 500).
- You have to show the echallan during admission.
- You will receive your password & identity code.
WBJEE Counseling Round 2 - Choice filling & locking
- You have to submit your set of course & college choices according to seats available.
- Then, you would have to lock them & take a printed copy of the locked choices.
WBJEE Counseling Round 3 - Seat allotment
- Your seat allocation would depend your choice & availability of vacant seats.
- You have to download & print out the seat allocation letters
WBJEE Counseling Round 4 - Document verification
You have to bring the following documents with you -
- WBJEE 2021 Admit Card
- Merit list print out
- Higher Secondary Mark Sheet
- Class X Admit Card
- Printed Seat Allotment Letter
- Receipt of Counseling E-challan
- Category Certificate, in case needed
- Pwd Certificate, in case needed
- Domicile Certificate, in case needed
Estimate counseling fees for WBJEE 2021
- Counseling charge for SFI- Rs. 40,000
- Counseling charge for TFW- Rs. 4000
- Counseling charge for Government Institute or University- Rs. 5000
WBJEE Counseling dates
The WBJEE counseling dates have not been declared yet. But in 2019, the counseling process was held at end of June and start of July. The coming year too, you can expect a similar schedule as the WBJEE 2021 result would be out by June 5.
