The General Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is the exam for people seeking admissions in post-graduate technical courses. From 1st of September the application forms for the GATE 2022 will be available online. Aspirants of GATE will be looking to apply for the test. While applying online you must make sure that you meet all the minimum requirements that are required by the candidate to be fulfilled.
The eligibility criteria for the GATE 2022 are stated below.
- The most vital thing to select before applying for GATE exam is the paper you are looking to appear for. This year the students are allowed to appear only for a single paper of a specific stream.
- The second thing that you need to decide is the city of examination. There are three choices that a candidate will be able to fill. The first is the city that you want to select as first choice. Then the city selected will show a specific zone. The second choice of the city shall be of the same one. These two cities are the primary choice. The secondary choice can be any city you want to fill in as the choice of city. The GATE committee later holds the rights to remove or add any city to the list.

Candidates with backlogs- The candidate having a backlog in the final semester should provide the copy of final semester mark sheet or a certificate from the principal. They have to be uploaded while applying for the GATE examination.
