The PGECET is the acronym for Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test which is conducted by Osmania University every year. As the name suggests, the PGECET is a state level common entrance examination for candidates aspiring to take admission for post-graduate courses in Technology, engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture & Post Baccalaureate. Andhra Pradesh Government’s AP State Higher Education Council conducts the examination through Hyderabad based Osmania University. PGECET 2020 eligibility criteria

  1. The candidate should be an Indian national
  2. The candidate must be a citizen of Andhra Pradesh
  3. As a candidate for PGECET 2020 , you should fulfill all the non-local & local status requirements stated by AP GO Ms No 153.
  4. The aspiring candidate has to hold minimum 50 percent of marks in AMIE/B.Tech/B.E in respective disciplines. However, the cut-off is 45 percent in case of candidates from reserved category.
  5. The qualifying degrees (including the professional degrees) obtained through distance mode should be accredited by AICTE.

PGECET courses

The candidates satisfying the PGECET 2020 eligibility criteria are allowed to sit for the entrance examinations in following Post Graduate courses offered at different AP universities- ME, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Pharmacy & Post Baccalaureate.

Online application & fee

If you find yourself eligible to sit for PGECET 2020 examination you have to apply online for registration through the official website of PGECET. PGECET 2020 application form is at offer since March 5, 2020 & the last date of application submission is April 20, 2020. The application fee is 500 INR for general candidates & 250 INR for candidates from SC/ST categories.

PGECET 2020 exam

The PGECET 2020examination would start from May 26th and would end on May 29th. Each of the exams would include 120 multiple choice questions to be completed within 2 hours.
