PGECET or Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test can be defined as the Andhra Pradesh Common Admission test for getting into regular Post Graduate courses in Technology, engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture & Post Baccalaureate. AP PGECET Eligibility criteria
To appear for the exam, the aspiring candidates would have to fulfill the following PGECET 2020 Eligibility criteria:
- The candidate should be an Indian national & must be a citizen of AP
- The candidate should fulfill all the non-local & local status requirements stated by admission regulations.
- The candidate has to hold minimum 50 percent of marks (45 percent for reserved candidates) in AMIE/B.Tech/B.E in respective disciplines.
- GATE qualified students have the facility of direct admission.
Examination centers
The PGECET 2020 examination centers include Guntur, Vishakhapatnam, Ananthapur, Tirupathi, Warangal and Hyderabad.
PGECET Fee requirements
The 2020 PGECET application fee is 500 INR for general candidates while it is 250 INR for the ST & SC candidates. Candidates interested to sit for multiple tests have to submit separate registration payment for each of the tests. The payment can be submitted through debit card, credit card, MeeSeva or AP online portals.
PGECET 2020 Application
The candidates interested in PGECET 2020 application will have to go through an online procedure. Take to http://www.appgecet.org/APOConfirm.aspx to fulfill your virtual application formalities. The application form for this year has already been released since March 5, 2020 and the last date of submission of the application form is April 20, 2020 .
Exam date & pattern
Date: The PGECET 2020 examination would star from May 26, 2020 & would finalize on May 29, 2020 .
Pattern: The examination schedule is divided into two halves every day. The first half is from 10:00 a.m. -12 noon & the second half is from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. The exam duration is two hours, comprising of objective type multiple choice questions. There would be 120 questions in total-1 mark is allotted for each answer & the cut off is 25 percent.

- 6th May, 2020 - Last date of application submission with 500 INR late fee.
- 14th May, 2020 - last date of application submission with 2000 INR late fee.
- 20th May, 2020 - last date of application submission with 5000 INR late fee.
- 24th May, 2020 - last date of application submission with 10000 INR late fee.
- 12th May to 24th May- duration of hall ticket availability. The hall ticket have to be downloaded from official PGECET website
- 26th may to 29th May- Entrance examination schedule.
PGECET 2020 counseling
The 2020 PGECET counseling will start on the month of August 2020 for all candidates who qualify in the examination.
