Dindigul

The district of Dindigul is also one of the most important districts of the state of Tamil Nadu. The main administrative city for the district of Dindigul is the city of Dindigul itself. The district of Dindigul was initially a part of the Madras district which was later divided to form the district in the year 1985. The district of Dindigul is bordered by the districts of Karur, Trichy, Tirupur, Erode, Sivaganga, Tiruchy, Madras, Coimbatore and Theni. The district is also bordered by the state of Kerala.
