The state of Haryana is located along the northern part of the Republic of India. The state of Haryana shares its capital, Chandigarh to Punjab. The northern state is one of the averages sized states in India with an area of approximately 44,212 sq km. The state of Haryana has a population of approximately 25,353,081 individuals with a population density of approximately 573 individuals per sq km. Two cities of Haryana: Faridabad and Gurgaon are turning out as one of the most important IT hubs in the north. Haryana is also the home to Kurukshetra, the battleground in Mahabharata.
