As the name suggests in Hindi, the state is located right at the heart of the Republic of India. The state of Madhya Pradesh is one of the most important states owing to the historical significance that the state has. The state of Madhya Pradesh is the second largest state of India, covering a land area of 308,2520sq km. In addition, the state also finds itself among the top with respect to population as it houses approximately 72,597,656 individuals with a population density of 236 individuals per sq km. The city of Bhopal is the capital city of Madhya Pradesh.
