Andhra Pradesh is one of the 29 states of the Republic of India. The state is located along the southeastern coast of India and is counted as the 8th largest state. Considering the numbers of people living in Andra Pradesh, the state is ranked 10th with a population of approximately about 49386799 individuals. The state occupies a land area of approximately about 160,205 sq km. Hyderabad is still the capital of the state and will stay so for the next 10 years. Andhra Pradesh has a literacy percentage of 67.21 according to the census of 2011. The state also boasts of the second largest coastline of 972 km.
