Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University is one of the major Universities in India and it is located in Hyderabad City, Telangana. The older name of the University was Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University and it was established in 1964.
The University was inaugurated by Lal Bahadur Shashtri, the former PM of India, and its name was changed to Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University in 1996.
