The University of Kerala, formerly known as Kerala University, is one of the best universities in the state of Kerala that came into existence in the year 1937. It has been awarded the “Chancellor’s Award for Best University in the state” and re-accredited with A-Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.  The institution is to be composed of 16 faculties and various courses at UG, PG, and Doctoral levels are made available through these faculties.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates looking for admission in B.Tech are required to appear and secured qualifying marks in the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical entrance exam conducted by the CEE Kerala
• Admission to the M.Tech is decided on the basis of obtained rank in the GATE
• Entry to the MBA is allowed on the basis of valid marks in the KMAT/ CMAT/ CAT and the final selection is decided by the performance in the GD, PI
• Candidates are required to crack the UGC NET/UGC CSIR exam for getting admission in Ph.D

The institution runs various scholarship programs such as the Student's Aid Fund Scholarship, Student's Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme (SGPAIS) in order to help deserving candidates who come from economically weak backgrounds.
