Himachal Pradesh Technical University is owned by the State Government and was started through the Act of Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in 2010. The university provides opportunities to aspiring students for higher studies in the field of Technology, Science, and Management. It provides a wide range of courses at UG and PG levels in various streams. All the academic courses of the university are approved & recognized by the University Grant Commission and PCI.

• Full-Time Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management & Catering Technology for 3 years

Eligibility Criteria

• Admission to the B.Tech is decided by the JEE Main/HPCET score
• Admission in B.Arch is based on the NATA score
• Admission in all other UG courses are decided by the merit in the higher secondary
• Admission in M.Tech is granted on the basis of valid marks in the GATE 
• Admission in M.Pharm is decided by the GPAT score

Scholarship

The university provides scholarships to the deserving students belonging to the ST/SC/OBC and physically challenged candidates through various scholarship schemes like Post Matric Scholarship Scheme to SC/ST/OBC Students, Dr. Ambedkar Post-Matric Scholarship for Economically Weaker Classes, and Mukhya Mantri Gyandeep Yojna.
