Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) is a state-owned university and it was set up by the Government of Karnataka in 2009 in Hubli. The main campus of the university is constructed over 55 acres of land in Navanagar, Hubli, Karnataka. KSLU provides opportunities for higher studies in the field of Constitutional law, Intellectual Property Rights, International Law, Trade Law, and Business Law at UG, PG, and Doctoral levels. It comprises 92 affiliated institutes and is accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC. It has also got official approval from the University Grant Commission.

Karnataka State Law University Courses
The courses are given below:
- Integrated BA LLB, B.Com LLB, and BBA LLB for 5 years, LLB for 3 years of duration
- LLM for 2 years in Business and Trade Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Intellectual Property Rights, International Law
- PG Diploma in Human Rights Law, Intellectual Property Rights Law, Cyber & Information Technology Law
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates seeking admission to UG, PG, and Doctoral programs must have completed Higher Secondary, Graduation andPost Graduation in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Admission to UG and PG is based on merit in the qualifying examination.
- For Ph.D., candidates are required to clear UGC NET/CSIR NET exam

Scholarships are provided to deserving students through Wrangler Dr.D.C.Pavate Diamond Jubilee Celebration Scholarships and Prof.V.R.Bhat Endowment Scholarship schemes.
Other Facilities
- The institute provides an International Law Moot Court Competition for Law students to practice and improve their skills.
