Gujarat Technological University came into existence in the year 2007 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat and it is a state-owned university. The university is approved & recognized by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and University Grant Commission. The university offers a wide range of UG, PG, and Diploma level courses in the field of Engineering, Arts, Science, Architecture, Pharmacy, etc through its 486 affiliated colleges. It has 7 research centers namely Center for Environmental and Green Technologies, Center for Cyber Security, Center for Mobile Computing and Wireless Technologies, Center for Infrastructure, Transportation and Water Management (CITWM), Center for Business Ethics and CSR, Center for Financial Services, and Center for Technology Education.

Eligibility Criteria
- Admission in BE/B.Tech is permitted on the basis of valid marks in the JEE Main/GUJCET exam
- Admission in B.Arch is granted on the basis of NATA score
- Admission in B.Pharm is decided by the valid score in the NEET/ GUJCET
- Admission in ME is permitted on the basis of GATE/GPAT/PGCET score
- For MBA programs, candidates have to clear CMAT
- Admission in Ph.D. is granted on the basis of UGC NET score
