Dravidian University is situated at Kuppam in the Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh and it was founded by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in 1997. The UGC recognized university is accredited by NAAC with grade ‘B’. Dravidian University provides various full-time courses in the field of Engineering, Management, Science, Arts, History, Computer Application, Commerce. It has 6 schools namely School of Commerce & Management, School of Comparative Literature & Translation Studies, School of Education & Human Resource Development, School of Herbal Studies & Naturo Sciences, School of Human & Social Sciences, and School of Sciences & Technology.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates seeking admission in UG must have completed the 12th class from a recognized board.
- Admission in B.Ed is decided on the basis of the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (APEdCET) score
- Admission in PG courses is granted on the basis of The Dravidian University Common Entrance Test (DUCET) score
- Admission in Ph.D. is decided on the basis of the Dravidian University Research Common Entrance Test (DURCET) score
The university reserved 10% of seats for the students of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala.

The highest salary package offered to the students was 5 Lakh per annum whereas the average was 2.5 lakh per annum.
Scholarship
The university provides scholarships to deserving students through Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship, Science Meritorious Fellowship, Telugu wordnet and ILCI fellowships, and Junior Research Fellowship. The university also provides a cash reward to the top 3 students in the entrance exam.
