Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (also known as IIIT Delhi and ) is a state-owned university that came into existence in 2008 in New Delhi. IIIT Delhi provides opportunities for higher studies and research in the field of Computer Science and associated areas. The institute was started with a batch of 60 B.Tech students. Indraprastha Institute of IT, Delhi is one of the members of the Association of Indian Universities and approved by the University Grant Commission. The institute is ranked 55 for Engineering in 2019 by the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) and accredited with grade ‘A’ by the NAAC. The institute consists of six departments and six centers. The names of the centers are Centre for Technology in Policing, Infosys Centre for AI, Innovation & Incubation Centre, Centre for Design & New Media, Centre for Computational Biology, and Cybersecurity & Systems Research Centre. The university provides UG, PG, and Doctoral programs in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, and related fields.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech course must have completed Higher Secondary with a minimum percentage of 85% and need to clear JEE Main
- Admission in M.Tech is required a B.Tech degree with 65% aggregate
- Admission to M.Tech is granted on the basis of GATE score followed by the Interview round
- Admission in Ph.D. must have a master’s degree and need to clear CSIR NET or written test conducted by IIIT Delhi
