Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, formerly known as Indraprastha University, was set up by the Government of Delhi in Dwarka, Delhi in 1998. The university is approved and recognized by the University Grant Commission and it was placed at 95th position among all universities in India by NIRF in 2019. The university consists of 12 Schools of various departments and 2 University Centers i.e, the University Centre for Disaster Management Studies, and the Centre of Excellence in Pharmaceutical Sciences (CEPS). The university offers various Ug, PG, and Doctoral courses in the field of Technology, Management, Applied Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences, Law & Legal Studies, etc.

Eligibility Criteria
- Admission in B.Tech is given on the basis of valid marks in the JEE Main/IPU CET
- Admission in M.Tech is permitted on the basis of valid marks in the GATE exam
- Candidates seeking admission in B.Arch need to clear the NATA exam
- Candidates looking for admission in MBA/MCA must have a valid score in the CAT/NIMCET
- Admission in MBBS is granted on the basis of a qualifying score in the NEET
- Admission in Ph.D. & M.Phil is granted on the basis of CSIR/ UGC NET score
