Bodoland University which is situated in Kokrajhar, Assam was started in 2009 under the Bodoland University Act 2009. It is a modernized version of the Kokrajhar campus of Guwahati University and recognized by the UGC. The university provides UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate, and Ph.D. programs in various specializations.

• UG courses include B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA
• PG Courses are M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, MCA, MBA
• Research Courses include Ph.D. and M.Phil

Eligibility Criteria

• The admission in all the UG courses is based on merit and higher secondary from a recognized board.
• PG courses are based on a valid score in the entrance exam conducted by the university
• Admission in M.Phil and Ph.D. are decided on the basis of a valid score in the entrance exam and candidates need to appear for an interview.
• For MBA, admission is based on marks in the entrance exam and candidates need to appear for a personal interview and GD.

Other Facilities

• The university introduced a health care center in 2013 in which one medical officer, one pharmacist, two nurses, one ward boy are working as a medical team.
• The university provides a central library and it contains 20,196 Printed books, 323 Braille books, Journals, Thesis, CD/DVDs, free high-speed internet, etc to help students in their studies and research work. The library has a separate Reference room, Periodical Room, Reference section, Surveillance section, and Circulation section.
