Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University ( also popular as NLU Visakhapatnam or DSNLU) was founded in 2008 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The university offers various UG, PG, and Doctoral programs in the field of law. DSNLU is one of the leading NLUs in India and is approved by the Bar Council of India & the University Grant Commission. The university consists of four research centers namely Center for Criminal Justice & Administration, Center for ADR, Center for Child & Law, Child for Legal Incubation.

The courses are given below:
- Full-Time BA LLB (Hons) for 5 years
- Full-Time LLM for 1 year in Constitutional Law, Commercial Law, and Criminal Law specializations
- Full-Time Ph.D. for 2 years and LLD for 3 years
- PG Diploma in Law, Technology, and Management
Eligibility Criteria
- The admission process for the university is completely offline. Candidates need to download the application form from the official website and then submit it to the university.
- Admission in BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses are granted on the basis of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)
- Admission in Ph.D. courses is granted on the basis of the marks obtained in the UGC NET
- The university reserved some seats for the students belonging to the ST/SC and economically weaker section.
