Delhi Technological University (also known as Delhi College of Engineering in the past) was set up by the Government of NCT of Delhi in 1941. The university achieved 1st rank in the Time Engineering Survey 2020. The university consists of 16 departments and a multidisciplinary center for Geoinformatics. The university provides various UG, PG, doctoral-level courses in the field of Applied Chemistry, Mathematics, Engineering, Design, and Management.

Eligibility Criteria
- Admission in B.Tech is decided on the basis of marks obtained in JEE Mains and also the performance or marks in the Higher Secondary
- Admission in M.Tech is granted on the basis of performance in the GATE examination and candidates must hold B.E/B.Tech degree with 60% aggregate
- Admission in MBA is permitted on the basis of the CAT score followed by a personal interview and GD
- Admission in Bachelor of Design is given on the basis of Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) score
Placement
The placement percentage of the university is very good with the highest salary package of 39.12 lakh per annum in the year 2017-18. The average salary package was 9.42 lakh per annum in that session. In 2018-19, the students got placed with an average salary package of 11.17 Lakh per annum, whereas the highest was 1.02 Crore per annum.
Scholarship
The university also provides scholarships to the students belonging to the economically weaker background in the form of concession in the tuition fee. The university also provides a reward in the form of cash to the students who performed very well in the academic session.
