“Aankh Micholi” is an upcoming 2020 Bollywood comedy flick directed by Umesh Shukla under the banner of Sony Pictures Films India. Umesh Verma’s last Bollywood movie was “102 Not Out” (2018 that featured stars like Amitabh Bachhan and Rishi Kapoor. He also helmed “Modi: Journey Of a common man” (2019), a web series based on the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now the director is all set to come up with his new film “Aankh Micholi” casting “Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota” actor Abhimanyu Dassani and “The Batla House” actress Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. The phenomenal actors like Paresh Rawal , Sharman Joshi, the gorgeous Divya Dutta, Abhishek Banerjee , Darshan Jariwala, Grusha Kapoor and Vijay Raaz are there in major roles. The movie is all set to hit the silver screens on 13th November, 2020, on the occasion of Diwali.

Talking further, the film revolves round a family of misfits with a crazily entertaining storyline which will surely make the Diwali a cracking one. The film guarantees superb entertainment. Reportedly the director stated that the movie is very close to him and since the movie is a family entertainer he decided to release it at the time of Diwali. He also mentioned that it’s a promise from his end that the audiences will be in for a laugh riot.

Moving further, the cinematography of the film is done by Laxman Utekar while Anthony has looked after the editing part of the movie. The story of the movie is written by Juhi Chaturvedi jointly with Varun. V. Sharma. The screenplay is penned down by Tushar Hiranandani. The music of the movie is composed by Sachin – Jigar and Tanishk Bagchi while John Stewart Eduri is behind the background score. The movie is shot in multiple locations in all over India and Europe.
