Paresh Rawal is all set to take you to a funny ride with Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Meezaan Jaffery and Pranitha Subhash in their upcoming comedy drama film “Hungama 2” which is the sequel of the cult comedy “Hungama” of 2003. This original film featured Rimi Sen, Aftab Shivdasani, Akshaye Khanna and Paresh Rawal. Hungama 2 is ready to hit the screens on 14 August, 2020. The film has been produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, Chetan Jain as well as Armaan Ventures under the banner of Venus Worldwide Entertainment. The movie has also been joined by master actors like Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tiku Talsania, Ashutosh Rana as well as Manoj Joshi.

The original “Hungama” of 2003 which was based on the 1994 Malayalam film “Poochakkoru Mookkuthi” showed how web of lies led to confusions and chaos. The 2020 “Hungama 2” would definitely be a family entertainment drama but not a sequel in the true sense of the term. Rather, it would give the viewers a completely fresh story with a touch of the same charm of masti, drama and mischief. The dialogues have been written by Sajid-Farhad. Anu Malik has composed the music of the film and N.K. Ekambaram is behind the cinematography. 

The film has been directed by Priyadarshan who also directed the previous one as well 17 years ago. The same director-actor duo of Priyadarshan and Paresh Rawal who gave the viewers “Hulchul”, “Hera Pheri”, “Bhagam Bhaag”, “Malamaal Weekly” and “Garam Masala” have reunited again after a gap of several years on the sets of “Hungama 2”. The director has promised that “Hungama 2” will hit the box office with double entertainment and double chaos. This fresh and new cast with the same old flavor of comic is ready to excite your funny bones once again before the Independence Day this year.
