Guru Ravidas Ayurved University was set up by the State Government on 1st February 2011 in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. The main aim of the university is to focus, improve, and promote higher studies, research work in the field of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. The university provides a wide range of courses through its 21 affiliated colleges in the field of Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, Unani. The nearest airport is Adampur Airport, Jalandhar which is 39 km away from the university.

- It provides bachelor’s degree courses in the streams of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery, Unani Medicine & Surgery, Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery
- Master’s Degree programs in Ayurveda and Homeopathy
- Doctor of Philosophy in Swasthavritta, Kaya Chikitsa, Dravyaguna Vigyan, Rog Nidan Evum Vikriti Vigyan
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates seeking admission in UG, PG, and Doctoral programs must have completed higher secondary, graduation, and master’s degree from a recognized institutes or university
- Admission to UG courses is granted on the basis of the NEET-UG score.
- Admission in PG courses is based on AIA PGET (All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test) score
- Admission in Ph.D. is allowed on the basis of UGC NET/CSIR-UGC NET score
