Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology is a state-owned university and it was set up by the Haryana Government in 1995 in Hisar. The university started functioning with the aim to facilitate and promote higher education and it is accredited with grade ‘A’ by NAAC. The university is approved & recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The university has 8 departments namely Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Environment and Biosciences & Technology, Faculty of Media Studies, Faculty of Physical Sciences, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Department of Applied Physics, Faculty of Religious Studies, and Haryana School Of Business.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech need to clear JEE Main and the final selection is done by counseling conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES)
- Candidates seeking admission must have a valid score in the GATE exam
- Admission in MBA is granted on the basis of valid marks in the CAT entrance exam
- Admission in Ph.D. is granted on the basis of UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET score
