Are you about to apply for WBJEE 2016? Well, the WBJEE exam is dated for May 17 and the application form is to be out on January 5, 2016 and the last date of submitting online registration is February 29, 2016. The aspiring candidates can only register through online application. The post below is a brief on WBJEE 2016 online application.
Before you go to the application form, you must be ready with the following scanned documents-
- Recent passport sized colored photograph – 4 to 100 KB
- Left hand thumb impression- 1 to 30 KB
- Your signature- 1-30 KB
- Class X admit card or registration certificate or class X mark sheet or your birth certificate for the DOB proof- 50 to 300 KB
- Domicile Certificate- 50-300KB
- SC/ST/OBC certificate (if applicable)- 50 to 300 KB
- PwD certificate (if applicable)- 50-300 KB
- Income certificate- 50 to 300 KB
Last date of document uploading is March 2, 2016
Notes about the photograph
- The image should be clicked after December 31, 2015 in professional studio.
- Do not upload low-quality pictures taken through cell phones as it might cancel the application.
- The image background should be light in color
- The candidate’s face should occupy minimum 50 percent of the photograph area & there must be a full-face view looking directly into camera
- Image should not be taken with dark or tinted glass spectacles
- The face must not be covered by hair, cloth or shadow. The eyes, nose, forehead & chin should be visible clearly.
- The image should match with the appearance of the candidate during examination.
Filling the form
- Visit official website of Wbjeeb.
- Click on the online application form link and you would be taken to the form.
- You would be asked to submit your personal details while filling the form.
- After filling your form, you will receive your Application Number and you would also need to create a valid password.
- The next step is all about uploading the documents.
- After you upload all the necessary documents, you would be directed to the payment page. You can pay either through Debit/Credit card or through Allahabad Bank Challan.
- If you are paying through bank challan, the site will generate a challan for you as you click on the said payment option. You would print out the challan and deposit it into any Allahabad Bank branch with CBS facility
- After successful payment, you will receive your Confirmation Page .You can save the page in your computer or take a print out of the page.
- Last date of printing confirmation page is March 31.
WBJEE Application Form Fees
The WBJEE 2016 application form fee is –
- Rs. 500 (plus bank charges) for those applying for Engineering
- Rs. 500 (plus bank charges) for those applying for Medical
- Rs. 600 (plus bank charges) for those applying for both Engineering & Medical
Last date of fee payment is Match 5, 2016.
There is a provision of correction window (March 7 to 12) prior to the issuance of admit card in case you have edit anything in the application form.
