VITEEE 2021 has a wonderful counseling process for the successful candidates.
Advance payment: -
The very first step to successful counseling in VITEEE will be done when the selected candidate shall submit a demand draft for Rs. 50,000 in favor of “VIT University”, which shall be made payable at Vellore, upon the conformation of the seat and the acceptance of the branch a lot of to the student. This will also include the Rs. 10,000 that shall be provided as counseling fees. Please note that the counseling fees are non-refundable. However, it will be adjusted once the candidate joins the University.
The process of counseling: -
The process of counseling for the shortlisted candidates is dependent upon the all India ranking as shown in the VITEEE 2021 examination. This information can easily be obtained by giving a call to the office of VIT or visiting the official website www.vit.ac.in, after the results has been declared. Intimation in regards to the dates of counseling shall be displayed in the website. SMS will also be sent to the deserving candidates, after the declaration of the results. A very common process of selection and admission will happen through single window counseling in campuses located in Chennai and Vellore for the B.TECH programs offered in the VIT University.
The candidates that have been shortlisted should attend the counseling session in person. In order to keep the possible absentees at a bare minimum, the number of qualified candidates is kept a bit more than the number of seats available in the university. This goes to say that even if you are eligible for counseling, it does not guarantee you admission to the University. It is totally dependent upon the availability of seats. The pertinent details of the various branches of engineering offered under the B.Tech program shall be displayed at the time of counseling. Based on the availability, the candidates would have to choose their preferred branch.
If the candidate is unable to attend the counseling on the specific date or time, then he or she would be able to attend the counseling at a subsequent date. However, getting the appropriate branch of engineering would be dependent upon availability subjected to that particular time.
