Zoya Akhtar directed ‘Dil Dhakdane Do’ is a Bollywood with Comedy-Drama Genre movie. Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar is the producer of this film and music for it is given by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio. Movie was released worldwide on 5th June 2015.

Plot of the film is about a Punjabi family with four family members: Ayesha a.k.a Priyanka Chopra and Kabira a.k.a Ranveer Singh, Shefali Shah as Neelam and Anil Kapoor as Kamal Mehra.

Kamal Mehra is the owner of a big company called as Ayka, but is on the verge of bankruptcy. They arrange a party for their 30th marriage anniversary on a cruise across the Mediterranean, calling on their close relatives. Their family is sort of dysfunctional and their unevenness in their attitude. Ayesha own a travel company and doing great. His brother kabira wants to be a Pilot, but still struggling to start of his career.

The 10 days celebrations brings lot of changes in their life and movie is all about the relationship between people, as usual we expect that from Farhan Akhtar movie, who is also have an comeo appearance in the movie. Movie portrays the life of each character in this film and also how they manage it. Kabir falls in love with a girl on cruise named as Farah a.k.a Anushka Sharma. But his parents want him to marry another girl of their choice. Priyanaka Chopra is not happy with her arranged marriage and wishes to end their relationship. Those who want to see something funny, but original, then yes they can go forwards towards this.

The sweet storyline up and the strong performance from the Anil Kapoor and Priyanka was the deciding factor in movie success. The total budget of the movie was around 85 crore and movie earned around 147 crore in total.
